Against food waste, everything is worth it.

We will never tire of remembering that in Italy the waste of domestic food costs everything 8.4 billion euros the year, that is to say 6, 7 euros per family per week. And they are data (Waste Watcher) probably at fault, because the real waste is higher than that declared.

Of ours we have: 1) suggested how to recycle the leftovers of Easter lunch, 2) explained the Italian anti-waste law, 3) indicated which foods can be eaten after the expiry date.

But we know, a picture is worth a thousand words.

Especially if the photos are those of the American blogger Lauren Purnell. A photographer who has made the reuse of leftovers with a strong artistic sense the object of a truly magnetic Tumblr: Culinary Canvas, and her Instagram profile.

All dishes are made with leaves, seeds, peels, seeds and what we usually remove from our plate.
