Grana Padano: there is no better drug for lowering blood pressure

First of all it must be said that this is not the rut of a nerd who frequents cheese shops like you have never seen.

I am about to tell you about a study presented at the congress of the authoritative American Society of Hypertension underway in New York, and carried out by Hypertension Unit of the Guglielmo da Saliceto Hospital in Piacenza, led by Dr. Giuseppe Crippa, together with the Institute of Food Sciences of Nutrition of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Piacenza.

Just to set the record straight.

So, a diet based on Grana Padano helps to reduce the blood pressure in subjects suffering from hypertension, and therefore with a high probability of diseases related to the cardiovascular system.

The study was carried out by inserting 30 grams per day of 12-month-aged Grana Padano PDO into the daily diet of 30 patients (45 to over 65 years, 13 females and 17 males) for two months.

The beneficial substances are i tripeptides, with ACE-inhibitory properties very similar to those of pharmacological therapies. After two months, significant positive changes in systolic and diastolic pressure were noted in patients: same effects as drugs.

Giuseppe Crippa, director of the project, argues that adding a little Grana Padano to a healthy diet can provide clinically relevant blood pressure benefits.

We are necessarily detractors of the pill but you want to put it with Grana Padano, for the right seasoned and Dop.
