And now, the trend of turning stations in citadels of taste, with shops selling food, wines and gourmet gastronomic products, has also reached a Rome.
It has already happened with the Porta Susa station in Turin. Manna from heaven for bored and hungry commuters, today Mercato Metropolitano occupies the nineteenth-century structure that was the train stop.
And now the restaurant entrepreneur Umberto Montano that a Florence, in 2014, revived the first floor of the covered market of San Lorenzo, export the format of the Central Market in the Mazzonian Hood of Termini Station.
Where from September 15 it is planned to open about twenty taste shops, in the area that once housed the canteen of the railway workers.
And in this context of food and wine coupled with the rattling of trains, "Terrazza Termini" was also opened at the head of the tracks, a "food court", a sales and administration area overlooking the tracks. And this is where we find it Ham Holy Burger, a hamburger chain already known to the Romans as it already has two stores in the capital.

To attract the hasty traveler, the Sebeto group - owner of the hamburger chain - has lowered a couple of aces to its new burger restaurant that it will be difficult to resist, none other than the two Capitoline gurus of meat and leavened products: Roberto Liberati and Gabriele Bonci.
The offer, in the new restaurant overlooking the tracks, includes in particular the Holy burger, packaged with meat from the renowned Piedmontese Fassona breed guaranteed by the Slow Food Presidium "La Granda" by Sergio Capaldo, which joins, in a tasty combination, to the fragrant bread of Gabriele Bonci.
The traveler in a hurry, therefore, always with a view to a quick meal, can still count, in the Capitoline station, on proposals ranging from 10 euros for a gluten-free "Holy burger" (weighing about 180 grams, with scamorza cheese and onion rings), 12 euros for the “Hyperlocal” burger with beef from Roberto Liberati's shop, or 14 euros for the “Ham Loves Roma” burger (with scrambled eggs, bacon with rocket and black pepper mayonnaise).

But the menu also includes other proposals: "Crunch" burger (weighing 180 grams, with crunchy bacon, scamorza cheese with tomato, iceberg and mayonnaise, at a price of 11.50 euros), in addition to the basic Holyburger (weight of 180 grams, with rings of red onion and holy sauce with tomato, cucumber and lettuce, € 10).
For those wishing to choose a different route from that of meat or to accompany the burger with a vegetable side dish, the Ham Holy Burger menu offers salads, potatoes and other treats at a cost ranging from four to ten euros.
There are also desserts, and those who wish can take the tasty sandwich by train or home by asking for the "Ham Loves Moving" formula, always with the new breads specially baked by Bonci such as ciabattina, first stone baguette, thousand seeds and the rosette.
In short, in a world that is on the move, offering quick meals without sacrificing taste was a must, especially in a station that needs to be redeveloped like Termini.
