From 8 to 10 October next the kermesse 'The Stars are back to school' will start: a weekend of culinary events for charity to raise funds for the Hotel Institute of Amatrice, devastated after the recent earthquake.
There are 42 chefs who will take turns in a very tight and tasty two days, presented by the journalist and food critic Luigi Cremona.
Among the many, will be present in the kitchen Francesco Apreda, Cristina Bowerman, Roy Caceres, Iside De Cesare, Stefano Callegari, Oliver Glowig, Noda Kotaro, Luigi Nastri, Gianfranco Pascucci, Giulio Terrinoni, Angelo Troiani.
The evening of the 8th will be dedicated to the Rieti food and wine culture understood at 360 °, in all its forms and expressions; the dinner on the 9th, on the other hand, will extend to all of Lazio.
But it is the final evening of 10 October to be in the spotlight: some food superstars who will cook their dishes accompanied by the students of the hotel institutes of Rieti and Amatrice, recipients of the funds.
And this is how we will see Massimo Bottura at work, with a proposal of 'rice with cheese and pepper'; Moreno Cedroni who will delight guests with 'Cod with bread soup and balsamic vinaigrette'.
Again, Maurizio and Sandro Serva with their 'carp in crust with beetroot mayonnaise'; Gennaro Esposito with 'risotto with yellow peppers with cod tripe'; Carlo Cracco with smoked egg 'and Mauro Uliassi with' liquid dark chocolate with smoked potatoes, potatoes and fish '.
The organization, upon accreditation via email, will also provide a special Rome-Rieti bus for the evening of 10th. The entire proceeds will go to the refurbishment and modernization of the Amatrice hotel facilities.
