Ceres alarm! The bombastic presentation of a ROSA "beer" arrives, as is the site ROSA, as are ROSA the virtual post-its on which friendly Ceres lovers and casual patrons leave tasty messages praising everything that is ROSA in the world - with particular pay attention to what is PINK and on everyone's lips.

The preview spot is a vaguely porno-softcore trailer based on pools, blurs and fresh fruit, from Bulgarian nightclubs. The Soft Ale should be Ceres' intention a beer flavored with ginger and raspberry and dedicated to bunnies, flowers and marshmallows, according to what we read; to sweeten the brand of Strong Ale most loved by drunkards and off-site students.

These, as nice rascals as they are, taking advantage of a social streak that plagues even the last plague of Egypt, have not missed an opportunity to welcome the newborn creation of their favorite petrol brand, taking a cue from the original chromatic vein.

User comments range from naïve appreciation of Barbie and politics to pushed feminism by valiant maidens enraged because touched in the pride of drinkers - with reactions generally tending to "fuck you, mebbevoiBarleyWinedaquindicigradiROAR" - to the most vulgar curses from crossroads and veiled allusions to the apparatus reproducer in all its forms.

The official presentation of the beer is scheduled in exactly 184 hours: that is, at dawn on April 1st … Then draw your conclusions.

My conclusions: it's an April Fool

Why else will I have to reconsider the limits I had placed on mankind (GINGER AND RASPBERRY ?!).

The campaign and minisite are too blatantly PINK to be true. I don't want to give up on the idea that all the sexism / homophobia / racism / hatred of the real world / stereotype of disgust / peppa-pigging that this bottle embodies, in 2014, may be true.

It's an April Fool. Quite right?

A marketing operation that is brilliant in its own way, in which, however, several aspects should have been better paid attention to. Pretending a #SocialMediaEpicFail like the one in progress at the moment on the Soft Ale website could be an avant-garde practice and apparently very effective for generating virality: at the same time certain comments should be moderate, or the brand and everything that has been built so far go to be blessed (the Cynar case teaches) - the situation in Ceres is getting out of hand.

If it were all true

(and the Soft Ale was about to make its appearance on the shelves …)

In this case, all the genius of the campaign would fade, leaving room only for an abysmal naivety committed by the marketing department of the brewery.

Also, the world could be in grave danger (GINGER and RASPBERRY? !!). Hide the children: the future (maybe) is PINK.
