Rome, restaurant closed after a school dinner: 2 Coronavirus positive children

Among the new cases of Coronavirus in Lazio, we point out those of Rome: here a restaurant was closed after one school dinner as two children tested positive for Coronavirus. But not only that: a summer camp has also been closed.

In Lazio, 11 new positives have been recorded in the last 24 hours, of which 6 in Rome. Of these Roman cases, in particular, two are children belonging to the same family unit: they were admitted to the Bambino Gesù pediatric hospital. As always happens in these situations, the epidemiological investigation which led to the closure of a restaurant in the Casilina area and also to the closure of a summer camp.

While waiting for the close contacts to be tested, the epidemiological investigation made it possible to establish that a class dinner with more than 30 people. Now all participants will be tested and the restaurant that hosted the dinner has been closed.

Speaking of the incident, Councilor D'Amato reminded everyone that it is still necessary to keep our guard up: we must comply with the provisions regarding spacing and avoid potentially dangerous occasions like parties or gatherings. The risk of this decrease in attention, in fact, is that outbreaks like this (or like that of Fiumicino) develop.
