Particularly severe is the sanction that was imposed on a bar in Bologna, in the historic center: due to continuous gatherings, the local will be forced to close at 9pm until January 2021. Indeed, more precisely, it must remain closed from 9 pm until 6 am the next morning.
The fact is that after numerous reports from residents and several checks by the Local Police, Deputy Mayor Valentina Orioli has decided to sign an ordinance that obliges the manager of the Salome bar in via Venturini to close its doors from 9 pm until 6 am. Nothing strange, you will say, these days similar penalties are almost a routine.
Oh no, because usually this closure is for a limited period of time, but here the deputy mayor wanted to impart a severe lesson to those who persist in not abide by the rules: the bar will have to close at 21 not only for a few weeks, but until January 31, 2021. All with a specific municipal ordinance.
Too harsh sanction? Considering the violations committed we also say no:
- failure to comply with the distancing measures for the Coronavirus infection
- noises and screams at night
- disturbance of public peace outside the premises and in the nearby areas
