PizzAut, the pizzeria for autistic children (now traveling due to Coronavirus thanks to a food truck) has temporarily moved from Milan to Rome, more precisely in front of Montecitorio. The aim is to support the bill dedicated to social start-ups, bringing their message of inclusiveness everywhere.
Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, PizzAut had not been able to open its doors in Cassina de 'Pecchi in the Milanese hinterland. However, the boys had organized themselves through a food truck and, thanks to it, they were able to continue their work.
Now the food truck, led by Nico Acampora, will go to Piazza Montecitorio on 29 July from 6 to 9 pm to prepare pizzas for parliamentarians. Together with them there will also be the Banda Rullu Frulli of Finale Emilia with musicians of different ages and abilities and the Tortellante of Modena, a laboratory of fresh pasta for people with autism supported by chef Massimo Bottura.
All together they will cook and make music outside Montecitorio to support the bill on social start-ups wanted by Senator Eugenio Comincini. The PizzAut president explained that their goal is to make everyone understand that the autistic boys they can do a lot of things, you just need to put them in the right conditions.
For her part, Nunzia Catalfo, Minister of Labor, has assured that on the 29th she will be in the square to eat their pizza. And the goodies of the GourmAut specialty that will be proposed on the menu at this juncture: for example, Fuori di Zucca will not be missing, one of PizzAut's top recipes, fried pizza with smoked scamorza cheese, speck, walnuts, sauce and extra virgin olive oil.
