Let's go back to talking about restaurants thanks to Fipe, which appealed to restaurateurs and merchants to hang up the poster of the Immuni app on their premises. The Federation has decided to promote, in agreement with the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the dissemination and use of the Immune app.

Fipe explained that after somewhat difficult months for the category, he considered it essential to promote all the initiatives useful to avoid a new reactivation of the pandemic with consequent lockdown. According to experts, the activity of tracking of any outbreaks to try to block the further spread of the virus and avoid more drastic measures (translate with: new lockdown and work stoppage).

Fipe then reminded everyone how the Immuni app works. If a user who downloaded the app is positive, Immuni, respecting privacy, warns of the positivity all other users with the app who have come into contact with the positive (obviously without giving names and surnames). This is to help the epidemiological investigation and block all potential infected.

The concept is that the more Italians have the app on their mobile phone, the more effective the tracking of positives will be. Fipe specified that the app cannot in any way obtain data that identifies the user, therefore it will not be able to know the user's name, surname, date of birth, address, telephone number and email. The only thing it does is inform if there has been contact between potentially positive users, without knowing who these users are or where the contact between the two took place. The user who accidentally came into contact with a positive will receive a warning from the app and related instructions on what to do (in practice, contact your doctor).

But what does the poster we were talking about at the beginning have to do with all this? Simple: if you view the QR code present on it, you are directed to the official website of the Immuni app from which to download the application.
