Suzi Wan soy sauce: recall for physical risk

A new one has arrived recall on the Salute.gov website: several lots of the Suzi Wan Soy Sauce because of a physical risk. On the website, the publication date of the alert is that of August 28, 2020, but on the recall notice the effective date is that of August 27, 2020.

The brand of the withdrawn product is Suzi Wan, the name or business name of the FBO in whose name the product is marketed is Mars Italia S.p. A., while the three references affected by the recall are:

• Soy sauce
• Soy sauce minus 43 salt
• Sweet Soy Sauce

The manufacturer's name is Go-Tan B. V. with headquarters of the plant at Poorstraat 57 in Kesteren, Gelderland, Nederland (The Netherlands). As for the lot numbers referred to, are the following depending on the references:

• Soy sauce: all batches with a minimum shelf life between May 13, 2022 and July 6, 2022 (Ean code: 4002359351105)
• Soy sauce - 43% salt: all batches with a minimum shelf life between 23 June 2022 and 5 July 2022 (Ean code: 4002359005336)
• Sweet soy sauce: all batches with a minimum shelf life between 18 May 2022 and 7 July 2022 (Ean code: 4002359361104)

In all cases, the sales unit is that of 125 ml glass bottles. The reason for the voluntary precautionary recall is due to the possible presence of glass fragments in the bottles.
