An important chapter closes a Domino's Pizza Italia: the current CEO Alessandro Lazzaroni will leave his appointment on December 31, 2020. In his place a new CEO, whose name will be announced in the coming weeks.
“I thank Alessandro for the work done in the last 5 years and I wish him every success for the future. Domino's in Italy is currently in a period of very strong development which foresees, among other things, the doubling of the points of sale in Italy by the end of 2021, as well as a series of important and innovative marketing initiatives.
Among these, the very recent launch of "Ricette d'Autore", pizzas created by chef Marco Valletta with 100% Made in Italy IGP and DOP ingredients, in addition to the recent collaboration for the opening of new Domino's Pizza stores in the areas of IP distributors in Italy. These projects will continue with the same intensity and energy thanks to the professionalism of our formidable management team and our franchises, led by the Board of Directors and the future CEO ", says the President Marcello Bottoli.
“I made the decision to take up a new professional challenge - he explains Alessandro Lazzaroni - and I am happy to know that Domino's, which I helped bring to Italy, is in the hands of a team of great professionals who will be able to continue to strengthen the significant growth of the brand on the Italian market in the coming years.
