Murder Franco Colleoni: the restaurateur's son was arrested

It seems that there is a turning point in the case of murder of Franco Colleoni: has been arrested the son of the restaurateur. The crime allegedly took place following a dispute over the restaurant.

Franco Colleoni, restaurateur and owner of the Il Carroccio restaurant in Dalmine, was killed yesterday in the courtyard of his house, also located in Dalmine. The cause of death was a shot in the head. The man was found by his ex-wife, who lives in the same building. After entering the house, she would notice the chaos. Going to the courtyard, she found the man lying on the ground in the driveway. The 118 intervention was useless: Colleoni was already dead.

The Carabinieri had begun the investigations and the findings of the case, also hypothesizing a possible robbery or theft. Also on the spot they had found the traces of several people. But now the turning point has come: the Carabinieri of Bergamo have arrested Franco Colleoni's son, Francesco Colleoni, 34 years old. The alleged motive should be sought in bad family relationships and problems related to restaurant management.

During last night Francesco Colleoni admitted he had had one quarrel with the father, but then I add that he does not remember anything of what happened. For this reason he was arrested. All he revealed is that after yet another dispute regarding the reopening of the restaurant, the father and son, who is the restaurant's chef, came to blows. During the scuffle, the son beat his father causing him to fall to the ground and hit his head on a stone in the courtyard several times.

After being questioned by the prosecutor, Francesco Colleoni was arrested and taken to prison.
